Our Flexible Hardwood Tambour is available in 19 styles within four different categories of tambour types: beaded, beveled, square and cove-cut. You can have your pick between five different finish options: red oak, hard maple, paint-grade poplar, white oak and walnut. They're available in 12 wide panels and two different length options 48 or 96” long – and select styles also offer at 24 wide option. Flexible Hardwood Tambour is kept together with a flexible backing that is ideal for wrapping around surfaces and easy adhesion (using construction-grade glue). This tambour is made of raw hardwoods and will require sealing for proper longevity and protection. Allow tambour, and all hardwood products, to acclimate to the area it will be installed for at least 48 hours prior to finishing and installing. - Crafted in the U.S. from North American red oak. Red oak is ideal for staining and sealing; red oak tends to show grain variance when painted.
